What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Registrations
We process registrations through Facebook, as you can only “log in with Facebook” on our site. We do not ask for permission to access your profile, or post on your behalf! As soon as you log in for the first time, we receive the following information:
- Email Address
- Name & Surname
- Public Profile Picture
You can stop sharing the information from Facebook with us by removing our access to that other service.
During the first login, we also use your IP Address to determine the country you are registering from, for analytical purposes. This information is stored on our servers (which are within the EEA), and is sent to MailChimp, who acts as our Data Processor and acts only on our instructions.
This information might be used from time to time to send promotional content, from which you can unsubscribe with a link that is available in every email we send out.
Contact forms
We have a contact form within this page, which will be used to submit your feedback. We maintain a copy of all messages received here, and the emails are only deleted if the content is deemed as ‘spam’ or irrelevant. We reserve the right to store any messages indefinitely, as per our legitimate interest.
These messages may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
Cookies
We use different ranges of cookies, some of them deemed necessary for site operation. Once you accept our cookie policy, we store a cookie on your web browser in order for us to ‘remember’ your preference. We also use a session cookie ‘twinangel_session’ to keep you logged in.
We use Google Analytics (which places cookies on your web browser), in order to gather analytical data that helps is continuously improve our site.
Facebook (which we add to enable our logins) also places cookies on your web browser.
To opt out of ads on Facebook, Pinterest, or Google that are targeted to your interests, use your Facebook, Pinterest, or Google Ads settings.
